Japanese Appreciation Nite on 13/11/2005

- Fate is decided by God but destiny is the path you choose to get there -

Yah I noe this is definitely a little late but it's definitely justified...at least for me cos got so many pictures to upload and blogger is so slow or issit my comp? Sometimes the uploading jus hang there and I had to save as draft so as to not re-uploaded everything...Shit happens at the most unexpected times u noe. So here are the pics as promised but really really I have to apologise for the 2 weeks delay though the date titled is 17 Nov but now its 27 Nov that I finally got all the pics up...well laziness is definitely the main culprit and maybe skating too..

First we start off with the usual...FOOD!

Yummy cocktail treats...
Various Japanese food...

Onigiri and sandwiches...
Chicken Karaage and some noodles...somen is seen in the top left corner
Egg Okonomiyaki...really hungry now...
And for the First time in my life...I am tasting the SukiYaki (NOT the song...hehe). Somehow the way to eat it is to pour the raw egg over the dish. Well my verdict? Weird, sweet but definitely yummy.

And so after dinner is the usual skit which in this case was a dance performance...to digest all the good food...and to burn the "spare tyres"

Then comes the appreciation speech by each students on the stay here in Singapore...Here my little "advertisement" on some of the students...hehe filled with a mixture of sarcasm and truth...Shingo is cute and can play guitar...
Dorothy is shy and introvert...but nonetheless cute too
Sherry can speak chinese as she studied for 3 yrs in Dalian, Liao Ning Province, China

Tammy is sweet but bigger than the avg Japanese girls...

Hiroshi's the best of the lot...good looks, suave and grew up in Sao Paolo, Brazil. Speaks fluent English and loves samba soccer...

Well Nancy...hmmm I didn't really talk to her...so no comments

Ah Pixie...definitely the typical Japanese girl...KAWAII!

Mac...yah short for Makoto but no where as near to last year's cool dude Makoto though both bear the same name...shy fella and introvert...

Nao...pretty more than kawaii...mature and sophisticated look...

My Japanese language classmates and the students
And finally here's the 2 sweeet English teachers...Miyuki san and Fukuko san. Miyuki was here last year but didn't get her pic and Fukuko is here for the first time. Really cute "sensei" who speaks really good English...Cute rite?
More of Fukuko san...
Then comes Miyuki san

And finally it's 4.43am and it's time for my precious sleep...will update more of the skating sessions soon.
