Yesterday just got Initial D forth stage episode 15, 16 and 17 from my good friend...WAH darn good...really...it can only get better...Initial D...Wow! Please go watch it...and you'll probably know what you are missing out...Episode 17 was not from FanSub, so the lighting was a little darker than usual and also the subtitle is a little different...but nontheless, it still rocks! Downloaded the 2 opening theme Noizy Tribe from Move or otherwise know as the official Initial D band...somehow Move's music really have the appeal that Initial D must needed. I mean the Animation is great so it's only natural for it to have a great soundtrack to compliment it...
And on Monday night, the VCD shop opposite my house was closing down to make way for a 24 hour coffeeshop and my my my...there are already like around 7 to 8 coffeeshops in my vicinity or a radius of like say 1km with my house as the epic center...DUH?! I really don't see the need for so many of them as most offer junk and trash food! Okay so much for the coffeeshop thingy...bought 2 VCDs from the closing down shop, Appleseed and SteamBoy...haven't watch it though so can't really give any comments but both are rumoured to be darn good. Appleseed is produced by the same guys who gave us Ghost in The Shell and Steamboy boasts a 180,000 drawings and sketches...Whoa?! and it was shown at some film festival sometime ago...

And oh yeah, Momoko-San introduced a couple of really nice Japanese bands to me, Ketsumeishi, M-Flo. I suggest try searching for Ketsumeishi's Sakura and Tomodachi...these 2 songs are really really good. Well for M-Flo, their music is a bit up beat and I would recommend Miss You (track no. 2 from Astromantic album) feat. Melody and also The Love Bug (track no. 10 from Astromantic album) feat. Boa. The latter's music is a bit the dance genre but it's really melodic and not so hard bass churning!
Enjoy the rest of your wet wet Wednesday now...I might go catch Dukes of DogTown later...hehe

so you into animation. i once told a friend, "wow! you watch cartoons ah!" he immediately rebutted, "what cartoons! animation!"
i still can't figure out the difference.
amithyst - Well animation typically refers to the japanese genre of cartoons that are not for kids. Cartoons are usually associated with children with simple story lines and cute characters and are usually from U.S. like Disney, Fox,or Nickelodeon. Animation on the other hand have complex story lines, fantastic character profiles and wonderful arrays of colors. The amount of effort that was invested in the production of the animation is far different from those from Disney...and the bottomline, animation is simply Japanese adults cartoons!
Depending on the kind of genre you like, once you get hooked, there's no backing out...hehe be warned...
