Animation....ROCKS BIG TIME

- Fate is decided by God but destiny is the path you choose to get there -

Yesterday just got Initial D forth stage episode 15, 16 and 17 from my good friend...WAH darn good...really...it can only get better...Initial D...Wow! Please go watch it...and you'll probably know what you are missing out...Episode 17 was not from FanSub, so the lighting was a little darker than usual and also the subtitle is a little different...but nontheless, it still rocks! Downloaded the 2 opening theme Noizy Tribe from Move or otherwise know as the official Initial D band...somehow Move's music really have the appeal that Initial D must needed. I mean the Animation is great so it's only natural for it to have a great soundtrack to compliment it...

And on Monday night, the VCD shop opposite my house was closing down to make way for a 24 hour coffeeshop and my my my...there are already like around 7 to 8 coffeeshops in my vicinity or a radius of like say 1km with my house as the epic center...DUH?! I really don't see the need for so many of them as most offer junk and trash food! Okay so much for the coffeeshop thingy...bought 2 VCDs from the closing down shop, Appleseed and SteamBoy...haven't watch it though so can't really give any comments but both are rumoured to be darn good. Appleseed is produced by the same guys who gave us Ghost in The Shell and Steamboy boasts a 180,000 drawings and sketches...Whoa?! and it was shown at some film festival sometime ago...

And oh yeah, Momoko-San introduced a couple of really nice Japanese bands to me, Ketsumeishi, M-Flo. I suggest try searching for Ketsumeishi's Sakura and Tomodachi...these 2 songs are really really good. Well for M-Flo, their music is a bit up beat and I would recommend Miss You (track no. 2 from Astromantic album) feat. Melody and also The Love Bug (track no. 10 from Astromantic album) feat. Boa. The latter's music is a bit the dance genre but it's really melodic and not so hard bass churning!

Enjoy the rest of your wet wet Wednesday now...I might go catch Dukes of DogTown later...hehe

SMRT - Singapore Made Roaches Transport

- Fate is decided by God but destiny is the path you choose to get there -

Currently listening to L'arc en Ciel's Driver's High from the Great Teacher Onizuka animation...just got back from my monthly religious service...a bit sleepy due to my best friend, "Ame" (Japanese) aka "Rain" (English) as I was greeted by the mild but cold morning rain...cold but really nice.

Today was a bit the not the usual service as immediately after that, there was a lecture about Tenrikyo by a American-Japanese, Jiro Sensei...the second generation. The lecture was not quite what I had expected and later after the lecture I learnt from Jiro Sensei that he kept the lecture brief and short as based on his past experiences, many were tired or were already thinking about lunch. He gave some life experiences to show how a tragedy can actually be a blessing in disguise...and here's a quote from him which I could hardly remember so pardon me if it's inaccurate, "The world does not change, but rather it's our own perception and the "dust" that mask our otherwise radiant mind to view the world as dark" I think it's something like that...it makes sense to me though, as our mind is always changing our perception of things...so much for today...

And yesterday I went East Coast Park to blade...a bit crowded but otherwise a really nice place to blade...long smooth paths, unlike the bumpy and uneven one behind my house and not to mention it's darn small...bladed from one end to the other. Mixture of amateurs and pros...and thank God I change my bearings early or I'd have a hard time keeping up with my fatigue...hehe Evelyn sure did have a hard time keeping up with her fatigue...Time to change your bearings to BONES...hehe. Really hope to gather more skaters to go blading together...

NOW for the title of this entry...well there are 2 major bus companies in Singapore now and I must say SMRT or otherwise know as Singapore Made Roaches Transport is the most roaches-infested one and so explains the name...SBS bus are typically much cleaner as the seats are vinyl and not fabric based...so you don't get heaps of dust to kill you when you pat the seats like those old irritating aunties...and also less roaches. Based on my experiences, almost like a holy shitty 90% of the SMRT (formerly TIBS) bus rides are UNPLESANT...either it's roaches-infested, lousy drivers, weird stench or poor air-conditioning! DAMN, can't you people in charge do something about it? Don't tell me the money you guys earn from us commuters are not enuff to at least inspect and service you DAMN buses!

I really hate SMRT buses...SBS is definitely better though most operate in the east regions...Please someone or anyone hear my cries of disgust and angst. *sigh* it's really unpleasant to pay decent money to share the ride with these free riders and yes I mean the roaches...talk about dengue, SARS, COME ON, the roaches are here to stay and why doesn't anyone recognise it!

Time to game a little...as gaming is just another displacement of my angst!

Hand painting

- Fate is decided by God but destiny is the path you choose to get there -

Recently, have decided to switch to hand painting of minatures after my failed attempt to acquire the airbrush...(Blasted my funds on my good Salomon skates!) Well, I really didn't know hand painting using water-based paints could reach such level of realism...although I must say for amateurs, it's a little hard but with much practice, it's not really that hard...Airbrush tends to be pretty easy after you get the hang of it (Of course with darn lots of practice!!!) and it's basically controlling the air pressure and stability of the hand...and a lot of details are later added by hand painting them on...drybrushing, washing, etc...

And so I decided to check out a local shop somewhere at Orchard Emerald that specializes in minatures...got some pretty impressive hand painted art pieces there...and so I got some paints to work on my little project...

The whole issue was started by me passing M Workshop and actually learning that my senior had won in the recent Gundam Competition...Really neat I must say...he's GOOD! And that refuelled my passion once again...somehow I seems to lose a bit of passion due to other factors like skool, sleep, laziness, etc...but a little booster like this keeps me going on...And so CONGRATS Yan for winning the competition...really brought M Workshop proud...

Grisly murders...

- Fate is decided by God but destiny is the path you choose to get there -

Firstly WTF? Another grisly murder? I say come on, give me something new you stupid dumb shit copycat fugger! Go generate some news like "I screwed Osama's ass" or "Hurricane Katrina kiss my ass!" I mean really WTF...another dismembered body parts case again? Sorry Mr Copycat, someone's definitely got the headliners before you...so WAKE UP! You can run but you can never hide in this tiny Island they call Singapore...there is already not enuff roads for cars during rush hours, what makes that small puny, empty skull of yours can think of getting away with it? *Sigh* I am beginning to take interest in Criminal Psychology...and figure out what really goes on in these Hannibal Lecter wannabes' minds...but too bad my new term of school starts next week and Yours Truly is taking basic banana Psychology nia!

Okay enuff of the not-so-interesting news...back to my shopping spree...sorry I know I really sound like a "Tai Tai" at times and despite my long wavy tresses, I can assure you at heart, I am a GENUINE Hetrosexual who like girls okay? Bought a BlackHawk 3 day assault pack and a 100oz Hydrastorm hydration resevoir to fit it in...definitely keep me mouth fresh and plenty of juices during those hot darny weather and also to keep my head cool during irritating public transports rides...Yes especially with those basket bananas inconsiderate and non-conforming commuters...kiss my big lard ass! A little bit pricey but the durability is GOD DAMN DARN good! I was gonna use it as a skate bag too as my Salomon skates definitely look to corny on those fanciful skate bags...and I definitely am not gonna be fully equipped by Salomon...looks really weird like some pro-skater sponsored by Salomon...yah yah yah DREAM ON!

Was considering the Phoenix bag from BlackHawk but...way too big for me...definitely gonna kill me before the weather does...so got the Coyote Tan one instead for Sheares Marketing at Beach Road. Black is out as I wanted something more light colored and also not to look like some terrorist wannabe...

Okay just the coyote tan bag only, the side long bag is NOT included...more pics but color is olive drab...

This definitely doubles up as a 3 litre, gigantic slapping bag when fully filled...Boy that definitely gonna feel like being slapped by a large brown trout!!! Except it's high on BLUE viagra!

NOW it's really every cent worth, the bag's great, hydration system is great, my back account is NOT great...hehe as yesterday, I bought a 12 Zoids Chaotic Century VCDs from Poh Kim at SGD$3.95 per piece and each disc contains 2 episodes...BUT it's still a long way to complete the series...maybe another like SGD$100+++ should be able to ease the unhealthy obsession! PLEASE EMAIL ME IF YOU HAVE TUTIONS JOBS! I desprately need one...

Goodnite and sweet dreams!

Late but still happy...

- Fate is decided by God but destiny is the path you choose to get there -

Well I managed to pass my exams (and I mean the SIM one!)...didn't really fare very well but at least still got an average of second class lower honours results...hehe must strive harder. Got my results last week but was too lazy to post...erm...well what did I do recently? Let me see...hmmm...went to the Food Fair with my mum yesterday and bought some foodstuffs and popped by Takashimaya after that to sample the mooncakes and in the end got the Snowskin Durian Mooncakes from Marriot. Desperate looking for a part time tution job so I can get the necessary funds to acquire my air brush...Duh?!

Nothing much recently went rollerblading as usual and was lucky enuff to witness a ground breaking event on Monday evening...there was this really young little kid like around 6 or 7 years old, fully donned in vert gear! Helmets, wrist guards, elbow guards, and knee pads tackling the quater pipe that is like almost 3 metres off the ground...Eventhough amidst the 10 over people crowd of adolecents fully equipped with BMX bikes and skateboards, this particular little kid was definitely a crowd pleaser and show stopper aka Shaw Michaels! Surprisingly his dad was there to guide him through the stunts and carry his other gears! Really amazing to see young Singaporeans with such great potential in ESPN X-games and also the little kid was wearing something like a X-games junior competitor t-shirt...hehe too bad did have the pics...but am definitely hoping to see him again...

And so Momoko-San hates Takuya Kimura after he says "Maybe" in last year J-Drama PRIDE and many Japanese youngsters started to use the English word "Maybe" which was otherwise made famous by Kimura-San. Hehe Channel U is currently showing it on Mondays and Tuesday evening at 7.30pm...well I definitely wanna watch it because it's about ice-hockey and that I used to have a passion in ice-hockey even till now...hehe and from the drama, I think this actress is definitely gonna make it BIG someday...Takeuchi Yuko

Now that Jap drama is making a come back, I'm really glad...sorry didn't mean to wage a Korean-Japanese war with you Amithyst...I know you loved Korean but me on the other hand LOVES Japanese...hehe

Might go out later to see if I can get Zoids animation...the japanese version not the Hasbro version...

The sweetest form of love...

- Fate is decided by God but destiny is the path you choose to get there -

Here it goes, what I think is the sweeetest and purest form of love.

Back in those school days, like around 14 to 17 years old when everyone is still young and probably a bit retarded...having crushes and infatuations on certain people and doing little things to get noticed by them only to feel shy and coy away...no worries, only studies and everyone dressed in the same shit...Haha no long hair, no thick make ups, no cool clothes and no freedom of expression but the same universal ugly, dull uniform throughout and yet we fell for a certain soul. It's pure, sweet but strange.

Like when first love first emerged, how the little things we do for the one that we liked, slipped little presents and letters into their bags, donned their names in our thextbooks, dream of them during lessons, smile at them and watched them do their things and feel the warm and satisfaction in our hearts...Ohhh how sweeeet! And slowly you ask around and found out more and more about them and finally you get to talk to them in person, maybe you'll get together with them someday, or maybe not...the bus rides together, the smile from their face, a little walk in the park after movies and finally a sweet goodbye kiss and "When can we go out again?" question to end the night...Trying to see each other in skool because of different classes and levels...That is all so sweet! No need to plan for the future, no need to think too much about posh cars and restaurants, everyday just get by as it seems...Really really sweet!

Too bad we can never go back to that kinda of innocent, pure and sweet love anymore...but I really think that THAT kinda love is love in its purest form...untainted by any other form of filth. Seriously comparing to love now, it's just 2 different thing...now it's more like about commitment rather than love as like I always say, Love is today while Commitment is tomorrow! We've gotta plan for the future, sometimes even think about what your other half can offer you in the future...also other factors like money, time, etc also plays a part...

A walk down memory lane really makes me ponder at those really beautiful sweet lovey dovey LOVE back then when nothing else really matter, only being together each and every day...yes it's silly but it's definitely love at it's purest form. How I longged for those swweet days...

Okay enuff of all these lovey dovey memories, time to get a grip and move on...haha cheers
