Raining Tuesday and I'm not in the mood to work...
And so the title suggests...woke up this morning and boy the weather is really nice...gloomy overcast sky...raining heavily...howling winds...and so I've decided not to go work today...and so my pay check will decrease below SGD$1k...it's only a temp job that pays rather pathetically...idiots! The hassle of carrying an umbrella and getting my shoes wet, *sigh* I'd rather stay home and blog to the max and game to the max...hehe later will most probably call up my supervisor and cook up a lame excuse for not going to work today...the universal sick thingy...luckily I'm only a temp and not binded by any contract and there is no strict regulations or procedures for reporting sick...hehe
Recently have been forgetting to bring the Digicam out as the thought of playing Maple Story after work seems to be the key factor that's preventing me from remembering other things...and I do miss out on the beautiful evening skies these days...some days, the really dark clouds gather like accumulating strength above the buildings, like a scene from some dooms-day movie...hehe really cool but...too bad didn't had the Digicam with me...

Sorry...been away for some time...
Firstly got to say sorry for being away for sometime and thus not blogging...not that I'm really busy until I've got absolutely no time to blog but I was too attached to an old online game and that everytime I got hooked, time just fly past...Yah I know it's a silly and kiddy game but it's cute appeal seems to get me hooked me...I'm refering to Maple Story...hehe Yah I kow it's an lod game...
And yah just so happens that I read from the news that Miss Wendy's aka "Xiaxue" infamous blog had been hacked into...wonder how true it was...well I'm strictly neutral about her...I respect her for the way she express herself without any restraint...the straight, unfiltered content are geniune but I don't worship her like many do...and I don't hate her...but the bottomline I wanna draw here is that sometimes being too arrogant and snobbish is not a rather good thing after all...Try not to piss too many people off as you'll never know when retribution befalls...time is your greatest enemy...some people just have the patience and luck and a hell lots of time and they will do just about anything to get someone down...results are their only concern to fulfill their hidden agenda...so be it underhand tactics or overboard, they'll not stop till they bring you down...
What goes around comes around...rather have more friends than foes...so better think twice before you do something that may inevitably trigger a castrophic chain reaction. For most others, they will just shrug off the minor misfortune of being insulted and take it in their stride but then again there are people who bear deep grudges.
Cheers people...

A Big Thank You to Amithyst
Firstly Thank You Amithyst for complimenting on my background design...and secondly I'm not working today is because it's Evelyn's birthday...staying home to do some research for her present...will be giving her 2 seperate presents. 1 later and a belated one. Made a bracelet outta
Swarovski crystals and encased it in a normal Gashapon capsule ball with a mini one inside with the words "Happy Birthday" written on it...Took me 3 days to complete it, not to mention straining my poor eyes out...hehe better hope she appreciates it...I know she will...hehe

By the way the tablet above is smaller than a 1 cent coin...hehe big present, small congrats...hehe and words has it, it's CONFIRMED! Momoko-San will be touching down on Aug the 3rd...yeah I am so looking forward to it each day...hehe...
Okay that's it for now...will update the Sherman pics soon as I have completed Level Basic of the Modelling course...yesterday basically was to smear mud all over the tank...yee but the overall effect...nice!

Sunday July 17, gloom and dull
*Yawn* just woke up from my afternoon nap...slept like a fallen lumber just now...the weather was nice, no denial. Yesterday went to Tina's 21st Birthday Bash...nice I must say...hehe her mum was so eagerly anticipating my arrival...ever since the first time I hit off pretty well...well what can I say, her mum is not those traditional-minded folks, she knows the trend and is pretty receptive of the opinions of younger generations...like keeping long hair, tatoos, smoking and stuffs...cool!
Okay I must admit, I was a bad bad boy yesterday 'cos I was the one to actually slam Tina's face into that huge cake for a final finishing move...hehe! Damn i didn't bring the camera...hehe and in return, I had to eat the portion of the cake her face went in...haha quite tasty! And after that, she splat 2 slices of cakes into me...and all the greasy stuffs all over my face...hehe fun though...
And how her 3 other "Jie Mie"s played Mahjong...haha really funny...amatuers I guessed...and how I actually "skillfully" smuggled a tile away from one of them causing her a chance to win...hehe really amateurs!
Okay, just read Cass's blog, her latest entry on the abandoned dog rocks! Really sweet and touching...and lots of truth.
And yeah I had to miss out yesterday SG Bloggers' Conference as I didn't even know there was ever one in the first place...*Yawn* boy am I still sleepy...
Oh yeah I bought the Casio A220 Futurist watch yesterday...I think it's the only watch with a vibrating alrm function...cool

Okay nothing much now...back to my airbrushing work...catch ya later...

Your Royal Highness...
It's so late in the nite and I just finish a rather suitable background to depict my true nature...
A dark and merciless Prince of Darkness...though the pictures were pretty much a not-so-real work of a amateur Photoshop user, Well at least for me, I am pretty much satisfied...the Wings were ripped of from the Final Fantasy 8 Bahamut toy ("Toyfare" Exclusive) and the really nice view of a gothic citadel amidst heap of demolished buildings...somewhere off the net...
That's me there (really wished I really had wings like that!) looking for my next prey...haha, incur my wrath you insolence, pathetic mortals...
Okay I may be great but still powerless over the infamous Zzzz monster...Goodnite and sweet dreams...I will make the necessary changes soon...

Fatigue has taken its toll...
Don't be surprise why am I blogging at this time of the day...let me explain...I've been working so hard for the past couple of weeks and yesterday, as usual, I went out at 6.00am in the morning before the sun is out and left work at 6.00pm to go for my airbrush lesson and reach home only like slightly before 11.00pm...and somehow I felt that my body has given in to fatigue...my limbs felt cold and I guess a fever is brewing and not to mention that irritating influenza that's affecting my taste buds and that pesky dry cough that is preventing me from savouring all my favourite cold drinks...idiots! And so was feeling like really terrible late last nite...pop 2 panadols before going to bed and took a day off today to recuperate my battered body...live to fight another day I guess...
Okay like I promised here's my customized Adidas Campus St that I bought the other day...boy I really like this shoe...

And here's the pics of M Workshop which offers great airbrushing courses...

Showcasing the nicest piece of Art that I think is probably the best in the whole of M Workshop...

And here's are some of the other pieces...

Okay that's about it for now...later I might post the pics of my Sherman Tank if possible...take care now...Saturday, July 09, 2005
Shopping Today...
So after I get my pay and what do I do with it? Well shopping of course...actually went out today with Evelyn to search for Japanese design tees but ended up buying a pair of Adidas Campus St Skate shoes...really like it though...and too bad it was the last piece and was launch sometime ago like in Feb...so no choice but had to get the last pair at SGD$99 at Peninsular Plaza...the size fit just nice though I would prefer 1/2 size bigger...Why did I buy it? I, Your Royal Highness likes suede shoes...and only suede shoes...espcially those with dark colors...hehe so here's the pics I ripped off the net...but not to worry, I will get the actual pics up soon as I changed the laces to white instead of the given grey and black...

Really hope the pics are not too small for you to strain your eyes...but seriously I would prefer to have the one with the gum rubber soles instead as gum rubber are use to make skate shoes, they definitely last longer than your average rubber soles...and here's the one with the gum rubber soles...

Anyone have any idea where can I actually buy this pair in Singapore? Or from the net? Please let me know...Amazon has it but they don't ship to Singapore...idiots...
And so I went to Modulo 24 (David's Car shop) to chill out and within talking to him for like 15 minutes, 3 customers came in and snapped up the last two sets of the 1/24 scale Initial D AE86 from Fujimi...
I guess it was because of the lousy movie to cause such a sudden hype which would probably die off with time but at least not for car enthusiasts like me and David and the rest out there...the second customer actually ask which kit is good and David and me had to explain that to reach the actual level of realism, one has to customize the kit as there are simply no manufacturers out there that will replicate 100% of the real thing...too many details and would probably cost a bomb...and the third group of youngsters came in and the girl asked if David could do the kit up for her after she buy it...haha I guessed there are still people out there who will pay good money to acquire something than to actually build it...but then again it's purely up to one's preference and financial status...
And so I found out from David that Aoshima produces better car kits than Fujimi and Fujimi produces better car kits than Tamiya...Why Aoshima? The tail lights and signal lights come prepainted and the windscreen and windows comes warpped in bubble protectors...even lowering springs are inculded...cool

See what I mean...really nice...and so I have decided to get the Aoshima S15 Spec R Aero to pacify some of my obsession for the S15...

This ones comes with the gun metal TE37 rims which is the ultimate for S15s...and David said that AutoArt actually produces the AE86 complete with Watanabe RS rims...and I couldn't even find it on the net...but I am seriously waiting for it...Yes S15 is my favourite car till date...Undenial Beauty with such graceful aggression...Sweet...and then on my way home Right outside Sunshine Plaza, I saw a SW20...full black with the little air scoop on the side...nice I thought...wow seems like today is a pretty interesting day...
ok, PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHERE CAN I GET THE ADIDAS CAMUS ST gum version as stated above...thanks gazillion...
In the Silence of the night...
Here, late in this Friday night, where most people are already sleeping, maybe some are still partying, I'm here alone pondering about all the sweet memories as well as the tearful ones of my past, the years that I have walked so far...
Somethings still put a smile across my face while others seems to trigger the lacrimal glands...hmm, looking back now, there are so many things, people, places, etc that I badly miss..but seems like they have either been forgotten by time or that that we have moved on without them...Everyone has their own lives and in this fast moving tiny Island, where competition is intense in everything, there are hardly time for us to ponder at the past except like now, where it's late in the night where serenity and tranquility flourish everywhere and calmness sets in the heart, tired emotionally but not physically and never mentally.
Science is advanced but how long will it be for time travel to be possible, to rationalise and realize the full potential of quantum physics? Only time will tell and if there's ever 1 thing that I regret most up till now, I'd guessed that it must be the fact that there are so many things I'd really want to go back to the past and change but I'd never do that as it would change the present and future as well...
Many times, I give advice to others to be strong and move on, and many times, I give the impression to others that I carry a bold and strong front, well the truth is that I, myself cannot actually let go of the past totally, that sort of explains why I'd rather remain hidden beneath this cold, merciless mask to shroud this vulnerable side of my self-denial.
Life is just a matter of a couple of good long ones amidst the few bad ones...sometimes I felt so bad at the mere thought of losing my parents as everyone has to go one day, yeah it's a natural passage that all have to go through but I stll remember those times when my grandpa left...*sigh* it's such a solemn feeling and I really can't bear to let my parents go...or anyone around me...why did I suddenly fear Death so much? Maybe the words of one of my colleague who have since left for Thailand to become a monk in a monastry stashed away in the forest where he said is not tainted by the modern world...at least the monks there don't carry any communication gadgets like cell phones and they don't even take taxi rides and water is to be collected every day by the river...a kind of life that rids of all worldy desire, where only nature, exile and serenity will prevail...seems kinda holy and divine but I doubt many would choose this path...
So what's the true meaning of life? I guessed it's different for many...Seven Years in Tibet is a nice movie to get one started as to what is the true meaning of life? Is it just study, get a degree, get a job, then get a life partner, settle down, have kids, live another few years, retire and then death...? If it's so already planned, why are ther still so many of us trying so hard to pursue our goals? Can we ever make it? *Sigh* Passion are different from Rice Bowls...there are no passion without rice bowls but rice bowls will go on without passion...Though it's already a norm here that we cannot disagree, I beg to differ...I seriously wanna break out of this norm and life the kinda of life I really want...I really don't wanna regret later on as I've already did for the past...
Okay so much for all the deviated stray of thoughts...My airbrushing instructor told me that of all the students that he taught, I would probably be the best student he ever taught...and my shifu's master which is my "shi gong" commented that my work was neat and not bad...so I guess that after all my art potential is indeed there...but mostly I credit it to my perfectionist nature and the passion I had...I can never really do something great without the passion...
Maybe I could exploit my maximum art potential by working on art related stuffs...maybe...hmmm but I'd try to if only I have the time...and oh yeah I was so busy at work these few weeks I actually forgot my dear Yanling's birthday...so sad...so I herby sincerely offer my apologies to you, my Dear Yanling okie? Will sent you your belated present soon...so hang in there...
Okay I guess that's much about it for now...lengthy though

Green Tank...
Okay just had the urge to post the pics up before doing something else to the tank...here's the pics after my 3 lesson...

Updated a Song...
Well I always feel that music are voices of angels and here's Eyes On Me by Faye Wong from Final Fantasy 8...this midi version is pretty smoothing and so I hope it does calm you too...relax and set your mind free...enjoy the serenity and tranquility admist the modern concrete jungle that's draining us of so much energy and youth...
And also Wishes by S.E.N.S. from the Jap Drama "Kamisama Mou Sukoshi Dake" starring my idol Kyoko Fukada and Takeshi Kaneshiro has been updated to "The Story" under links which is MY story for the quest for angels...enjoy now
Sometimes it's good to take a well deserved break once in a while but unless you are filthy rich, one can't really afford to relax all the time...as it leads to laziness (which obviously what I'm good at....!) which is bad...
Oh yeah so sad to learn of the news of the London bombing yesterday evening...condolences goes out to all those affected...I thought I could see the celebration after London won the Olympic 2012 thingy but no one could have expected this tragedy to unfold...Terrorists...*sigh*
Though God claims more lives with the forces of nature but these stupid puny sickos littered all over the planet try to play God and decides who lives and who dies...sometimes I do wonder what is God, the Almighty One, doing up there watching the helpless victims die one by one...and then come the forces of nature claiming the lives of the innocent ones...children espcially...Why is the word to ponder...
Unfair but this is life and we have absolutely no control over it although many of us thought we have...the fact the uncertainty lies ahead is plagued further with ineminient danger lurking as Terrorists set forth to make a statement to challenge the world...
Humble Amithyst...Hehe
Ohaiyo Gozaimasu,
Nah, my photography skills is not that fantastic...maybe the camera is doing a better job for me...hehe and seriously Amithyst, Your site is not bad...pretty nice...except that I think it would be better if you could like customize the template as the standard ones that they provide is pretty plain...
Besides blogs with pictures draw a greater crowd as too much words seems to bore most people out and a picture definitely paint a thousand words and pictures is what capture people's attention...
Cheers Amithyst and keep the Blogger Community rolling...
Nothing much today except that I'm on leave and can wake up late...but the biological clock in me is already defined...so I can't really sleep till like noon these days...*sigh* thus giving up the long reigning "Sleeping God" title...heh

And tomolo, I shall go for my airbrush lesson again...hehe so looking forward to it...By the way I am trying to hook up a MTV to my blog, anyone capable to teaching me how, PLEASE let me know...I'm pretty dumb I must admit until someone teaches me...hehe

Yep like what Tiffany quoted...
Yes, you're definitely rite Tiffany...Blogger is the best...the overall design is very warm and simple and the User Interface is really easy to use...Cheers Blogger is the BEST!
And so I went down to Canon Service Centre to collect the Digicam and basket, the staff "ate" my SD card...will definitely call them up tomolo to get it back...and on my way home, the sky was pretty nice with an assortment of colors...too bad I didn't bring the Digicam...but I'll try to make it a point to bring it everywhere I go...just in case ya know...
Nothing much to update but my Airbrushing Lesson on Monday was a bit hectic but nice...will update the pics of the tank soon...

Yikes...Pictures is down
Experiencing a technical problem now...the pictures I stored at Geocities is not showing and the reason being "exceed the allocated bandwith"...Idiots...Now I'm trying to upload all the pics in my entries to Blogger which is obviously GOOD AND IT'S FREE...less a bit of instability here and there...

Initial D the Movie
Well, after catching the show and my verdict? 3 stars out of a possible 5...and here's the reasons...
The movie is about 70 ~ 75% close to the animation or comic...everything from Stage 1 to Stage 2 of the animation is crammed into a 2 hour plus movie plus distortions of various sorts...so if one is not a true Initial D fan, the movie might just very well be better than most CGI car flicks...this one is definitely one of the better Asian racing flicks...
But then again true Initial D fans might think the movie is not that impressive as they tend to compare it with the animation which obviously is really hard to replicate everything into a 2 hour movie...
A couple of laughs here and there and most races are done in real life and not CGI generated but certain distortions really spoils the originals as they tends to deviate far from the real stuffs...simple things like a cup of clear water from the actual animation is replicated with some puke-looking murky liquid in the movie...*sigh*
Oh yeah I've got a comment from Amithyst...thanks anyway but how's War of the Worlds? Is it good? Seriously I haven't seen the original black and white one...hehe but I think those classic black and white shows like Frankenstein and The Invisible Man is really nice and not to mention Kurosawa's Japanese classics...hehe
Okay nothing much today except that I went out for Japanese lessons and watched Initial D after that...

Weird Sightings...
Somehow today is Friday and I'm pretty satisfied as tomolo is the start of a very nice weekend and I don't have to work and Monday after work, I can go for my airbrush lesson...yeah...hmm or maybe it might be due to the fact that I've already started working and can't idle around as often and losing the "Toyo" tyre wrapping my tummy...hehe and the really bad strains around my ankles are finally subsiding...or is it that I can't feel anything below my ankles?!...Yikes that's freaky...but I guessed it's probably that I've been idling and slacking for too long...
Okay so tomolo I'll watch Initial D the movie though a couple of reviews by my movie kakis were pretty negative...but I'll still watch it to give my verdict...
And so it seems like there's this instinct of mine these days that will urge me to look up at the sky whenever I'm not working overtime as I tend to reach home before dusk...I mean there's still some light in the sky before pitch black...and it so happens that I saw a weird looking cloud obscuring the evening blue sky just now in the evening and I took a couple of shots to upload and blow it up on Photoshop and here's what I saw...

Now you tell me what you see?
and here's the blown up portion of what I think I saw...Gosh...are you seeing what I'm seeing?

Here's the other portion that I zoomed in from the digicam

Now what exactly so you see?
Here's mine interpretation...compare them with the originals above...and feel free to email me if your vision differs...scary but kinda cool...
"A dragon's head is seen beneath the red arrow is facing left and to the right is the rest of the body complete with legs...!"
"There's even a pale white aura around the dragon's head...!"
"I think it looks like a wolf or dog-like beast facing right with very large wings...!"
Click the pictures above to see the enlarge versions as I didn't want to distort my blog...sorry and if you can't see the pictures, probably it's because I'm using some free thingy from Geocities and they have limits on data transfer...idiot money suckers...! Pls check back later...thanks in advance and enjoy your weekends now...tata
